Midland Elementary School, home of the Mustangs, is a K-5 school in the heart of the historic Midland area, just south of Tacoma. The current building opened its doors for students in September 2003, replacing the original Midland School which served the community from 1891-1982. Midland is a growing school, with over 550 students and more than 60 highly qualified and dedicated staff.
